2027: Yakubu Dalhatu Araf Declares Bid for House of Representatives, Pledges Effective Representation for Awe, Doma and Keana
Hon. Yakubu Dalhatu Araf, CNA, popularly known as “The Harbinger of Success” and Mai Kyauta, has formally presented himself as an aspirant to represent the people of Awe, Doma and Keana Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly.
The aspirant said his decision to seek election is driven by the need to provide stronger, more responsive and people-oriented representation capable of bringing the concerns and aspirations of constituents to the forefront of national legislative discourse.
According to his campaign message, Araf is committed to promoting purposeful representation anchored on the principles of human dignity, equity, justice and the rule of law.
He pledged to sponsor and support legislation that would encourage entrepreneurship, empower small and medium-scale enterprises, create employment opportunities and reduce poverty across the constituency.
The House of Representatives hopeful also promised to advocate for improved security through policies aimed at strengthening security institutions to guarantee a peaceful environment where agriculture, commerce and investment can flourish without fear.
