Anambra State has recorded another remarkable milestone on the global stage as Chibusonma Enuka, a student of Mater Amabilis Secondary School, emerged Overall Best Speaker at the Shanahan Debate Championship, one of the major events of the ongoing 2026 World Schools Debating Championship in Nairobi, Kenya.

Chibusonma, who serves as the Senior Prefect of Mater Amabilis Secondary School, represented Nigeria alongside two other students and distinguished herself through exceptional debating skills, earning international recognition as the competition’s best speaker.
