Nasarawa/Toto 2027: APC Reps Aspirant Abdullahi Aibro Returns to Grassroots, Consults Nasarawa Central Elders, Stakeholder
Stakeholders in Nasarawa Central under the All Progressives Congress (APC) have endorsed House of Representatives aspirant Ibrahim Abdullahi Aibro for his unwavering consistency and grassroots contributions ahead of the 2027 elections.
Aibro, seeking the APC ticket for Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency, recently toured elders and stakeholders in all seven electoral wards: Nasarawa North, East, Central, Main Town, Ara I, Ara II, and Laminga.
A highlight was his meeting with the Nasarawa District Elders Forum, led by Alhaji Abdullahi Ashafa. This marks his return to grassroots engagement since contesting in 2019.
Speaking for the forum, Alhaji Abdullahi Ashafa praised Aibro’s steadfastness. “He has stayed with the people from the beginning, contributing meaningfully to their wellbeing. His consistency and commitment have earned him our confidence,” Ashafa said.
The elders pledged full mobilization for Aibro at the APC primaries, urging party members and residents to adopt him as a consensus candidate.
They commended his humility and respect for traditional institutions, calling on all aspirants to prioritize peace, maturity, and service.
In his remarks, Aibro thanked the elders for their support and hospitality. He stressed their pivotal role in politics: “No meaningful leadership journey can succeed without their guidance and blessings.”
The aspirant reaffirmed his inclusive approach, promising to keep elders’ counsel at the heart of his vision for the constituency.
