The Founder of Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group, Chief Richard Asaje, has called on Christians to let the meaning of Easter shape how they live, lead, and relate with others.

In his 2026 Easter Message, Chief Asaje described the season as a pattern for daily life, noting that the Cross and the empty tomb offer four enduring lessons of sacrifice, forgiveness, hope, and renewal that should guide both personal conduct and public service.

“Easter reminds us that leadership is sacrifice, not privilege, it teaches that forgiveness is stronger than revenge, that hope outlasts hardship, and that renewal is always possible for people and for Nations”

He urged believers to move beyond ritual to practice: telling the truth even when it costs, choosing reconciliation over resentment, serving without seeking applause, and extending compassion to the vulnerable.

Chief Asaje challenged Christians in positions of influence to model integrity and empathy at all times and encouraged congregations to pair prayer with practical action by visiting the sick, support widows and orphans, mentor young people, and promote peace across denominational and political lines.

The Founder and National Coordinator of the Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group prayed for unity and progress, urging Christians to carry the spirit of Easter into the ordinary days at work, on the road and in the neighborhoods to enable their faith become good news for others around.
