Ikpokpo said the committee had put necessary arrangements in place to ensure effective coordination, disclosing that various sub-committees had been constituted and assigned specific responsibilities ahead of the rally.
He said Isoko South was making arrangements to receive Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, alongside other APC leaders, stakeholders and supporters from across Delta State.
“We have concluded a productive meeting and inspected the venue for the campaign flag-off. We have taken critical decisions, established sub-committees and assigned responsibilities to ensure that every aspect of the event is properly coordinated,” he said.
The campaign coordinator further disclosed that efforts were ongoing to mobilise party members and residents for the rally, expressing confidence that Oleh Stadium would accommodate the expected gathering.
“Our preparations are in top gear. We are determined to give the governor and the entire Delta APC family a warm reception. Our people are enthusiastic, and we are working towards a successful rally,” Ikpokpo added.
He described the forthcoming flag-off as an opportunity for the party to demonstrate its organisational structure in Isoko South, while urging members and supporters to participate actively in the preparations.
The meeting and inspection formed part of the committee’s efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation, coordinate the activities of the various sub-committees and make adequate arrangements for the expected influx of party leaders and supporters.
The meeting was hosted by the Chairman of the Campaign Council, Dr. Godwin Adolor.
Prominent party figures in attendance included the member representing Isoko Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko; member representing Isoko South Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Ferguson Onwo; and APC candidate for Isoko South Constituency I in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Lucky Idoveh Sabon.
Also present was the Delta State APC Organising Secretary, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, alongside other party leaders and stakeholders.
The November 5 event is expected to mark the commencement of a major phase of the APC’s campaign activities in Delta State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The rally will provide an opportunity for party leaders and stakeholders to address supporters, outline campaign activities and engage party structures across the state.
With preparations underway, the Isoko South campaign committee says it is working towards ensuring that the Oleh flag-off proceeds as scheduled.
