Igboji Isioma Stephanie Declared Missing, Family Appeals for Public Assistance

The family of the late Mrs. Austina Igboji of Igbanke Community in Orhionmwon Local Government Area, Edo State, has declared her only daughter, Igboji Isioma Stephanie, missing and is appealing to the public for assistance in locating her.
Speaking with The Catholic Beacon on January 2, 2024, a member of the maternal family, Mr. Fredrick Osadion, expressed deep concern over Stephanie’s whereabouts, revealing that information available to the family suggests she may have left Nigeria in March 2022, but has not been heard from since.
Osadion said Stephanie’s prolonged disappearance has become a major source of anxiety for the family.
According to him, their brother and uncle, Mr. Sammy Osadion, who took Stephanie into his care and was responsible for her education and welfare, has also stated that he has no knowledge of her current location.
He lamented that Stephanie remains unaware of the death of her mother, who, according to the family, made immense sacrifices for her upbringing and survival.
“Who will help us inform Stephanie that her mother, who sacrificed so much for her, has passed away and was buried without her knowledge?” he asked.
Osadion disclosed that during the Osadion family reunion held on December 27, family members resolved to intensify efforts to locate Stephanie by involving the media and security agencies.
“Following the resolution reached at our December homecoming meeting, we agreed to take the matter to the media and the police to strengthen the search for our beloved daughter, Stephanie,” he said.
He further stressed that the family would not relent in its efforts to find her.
“As a family, we are determined to continue the search for the only daughter of our late sister and mother, Mrs. Austina Igboji. Her sudden death was surrounded by circumstances that raised suspicions of foul play, but we laid her to rest and committed the matter to God’s hands,” he added.
Osadion appealed to members of the public with useful information regarding Stephanie’s whereabouts to come forward and assist the family.
“We appeal to anyone with credible information about Stephanie’s location to contact the Osadion family in Igbanke Community, Edo State. Most importantly, we pray she is safe and receives every possible protection wherever she may be,” he said.
