Shomolu/Bariga Youth Movement Backs Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda
The APC Youth Network West Africa (APCYN-WA) has intensified its grassroots mobilisation efforts following a strategic engagement with the Shomolu/Bariga Youth Movement aimed at promoting civic participation and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda
In a statement issued by the Publicity Secretary of the APC Youth Network West Africa, Ghana Chapter, Adebukola Edah, and made available through the Youth Wings West Africa Facebook page., The meeting, led by the Director-General of APCYN-WA, Hon. Olatunde Gideon Igbasan, was hosted by HRH Dr. Oluwamayowa Olaide Jose, the Alaaye of Dome-Kwabenya, and brought together youth leaders to discuss strategies for strengthening political awareness and increasing citizens’ participation in Nigeria’s democratic process.
Discussions centred on voter education, grassroots mobilisation, Permanent Voter Card (PVC) registration, and encouraging young people to play active roles in shaping the country’s democratic future.
Addressing participants, HRH Dr. Oluwamayowa Jose urged Nigerian youths to become ambassadors of democratic participation by educating their communities on the importance of obtaining Permanent Voter Cards and actively participating in eleelections
He stressed that national development depends on unity, patriotism, hope, and the collective commitment of citizens towards advancing Nigeria’s progress.
At the end of the meeting, participants reaffirmed their commitment to expanding grassroots mobilisation, promoting voter education, and encouraging active citizen participation in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
