Following the conclusion of the APC Senatorial Primary Election for Kogi West Senatorial District, three critical documents now define the truth of what transpired: the Primary Election Report, the Appeal Committee’s Report, and the INEC Report. All three are in the public domain. We have them. The people have them. Their contents are known to all.
However, credible information reaching us suggests that certain interests are making attempts to tamper with these reports, to alter their contents, forge new versions, and subvert their original findings in favour of a preferred candidate. This is unacceptable, unconscionable, and a direct assault on the democratic process.
We, the concerned citizens of Kogi West, wish to state clearly, decisively, and without any ambiguity:
The Primary Election Report must not be changed.
The Appeal Committee’s Report must not be changed.
The INEC Report must not be changed.
These documents are not working drafts subject to revision. They are not proposals open to negotiation. They are official records of a process that was duly conducted, properly witnessed, lawfully documented, and formally concluded. They must stand exactly as they were originally submitted, unaltered, untouched, and uncompromised.
Any attempt to change, manipulate, replace, or doctor any of these reports will not go unnoticed. It will not be tolerated. And it will not stand.
We hereby call on the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress to demonstrate integrity by upholding the sanctity of its own internal processes. We equally call on the Independent National Electoral Commission to protect the authenticity of its records and resist any external pressure to compromise them. These institutions owe a duty to the people, not to any individual or interest group.
The matter is currently before a competent court of law, and we place our absolute trust in the judiciary as the last hope of the common man. We believe firmly that only the court can safeguard the will of the people from those who seek to manipulate outcomes through the backdoor.
We are watching every move, every signature, every submission.
We are waiting with patience, with discipline, and with irrefutable evidence.
We are documenting every action, every discrepancy, every attempt.
To whom it may concern: the originals are already in the public space and in safe custody. Any version that differs from what was originally submitted will be immediately identified, publicly exposed, and legally challenged. The people of Kogi West are vigilant, informed, and resolute.
We remain law-abiding and committed to due process. But let no one mistake our patience for weakness, or our silence for ignorance. We know the truth. We hold the evidence. And we trust that justice as it always does will prevail.
None of these reports must be changed. We are watching.
