APC inaugurates Kuje council executives

The national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated the new executives of the Kuje Area Council chapter of the party.
The inauguration, which held on Thursday, in Kuje, was presided by the committee Secretary of the national secretariat of the party, Barrister Ikem Chuka, who administered an oath on the executives, which had representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security operatives in attendance.
Among the newly inaugurated LG executives that emerged through consensus include, Adamu Danladi Ibrahim as Chairman, Danlami Musa. Vice chairman, Ismaila Suleiman Gokuje. Secretary, Noma Awwal Bawa Assistant Secretary, Sikiru Adebayo, Organising Secretary and Joseph Yunusa, Assistant Organising Secretary.
Other inaugurated executives were, Abdullahi Rakiya, Women leader, Halima Sadiq, Assistant women leader, Jibrin Mohammed Gani, youth leader, Habila Tika, Assistant youth leader, Musa Bala Sule, Legal Adviser, Ayuba Aruwa, Assistant legal adviser, Danlami Samu, Treasurer, Hosea Azaki Assistant treasurer and 13 others.
In his speech, the leader of APC in Kuje Area Council Senator Usman Jibrin Wowo, said the new executives who emerged through consensus were picked after consultation with the party’s stakeholders across the ten political wards of the council.
He said the former chapter executives of the party have spent 8 years after presiding over the affairs of the party, which he said prompted the need to put in another place new executives.
Wowo, while congratulating the new executives, also urged them to ensure they put in their efforts in order to come up with innovations the will further make APC wax stronger in the council.
The Kuje Chairman -elect Hon Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo, also commended the new executives of the party, saying there was the need for them to live up to expectation in the course of discharging their duties.
He warned that the party will not hesitate to sack any executives that fail to perform up to the required expectations.

On his part, the Kuje chapter chairman of the APC, Adamu Danladi Ibrahim, who spoke onbehalf of the executives, appreciated the party leaders and stakeholders for finding them worthy to pilot affairs of the party for the next four years.
He assured that he will work in collaboration with other executives of the party without any compromise.
