The National Coordinator of the Alliance of North Central Youth (ANCY), Hon. Gabriel Joshua Ojochegbe, has congratulated members of the organisation nationwide following its recognition by the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a support group ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ojochegbe described the development as a major milestone for ANCY, attributing the recognition to the commitment, sacrifice and grassroots mobilisation efforts of members across the country.
He, however, said the recognition should be seen as a fresh responsibility rather than merely a cause for celebration.

The ANCY National Coordinator urged state, local government and ward executives to intensify grassroots engagement, promote voter education and ensure that the concerns of communities are properly communicated.
He called for unity, discipline and commitment among members as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
“This recognition is a responsibility and a call to action. It is time for us to go deeper with the grassroots, engage our people, educate them and ensure that the voices of our communities are heard,” he said.

Ojochegbe also commended ANCY members for their contributions to the growth of the organisation, assuring them that the group would continue to expand its presence across the North Central region and Nigeria.
He urged members to embrace the new opportunity with greater dedication and service.
