Tim Diche Accepts APC Primary Result, Vows to Work for Erico’s Victory
A former aspirant for the Kogi East Senatorial ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Tim Nda Diche, has accepted the outcome of the party’s recently concluded primary election and pledged full support for the winner, Joseph Ameh Erico.
In a statement issued and made available to Newsmen, Diche expressed gratitude to his supporters, friends, and party faithful for their commitment and sacrifices throughout his campaign journey.
He noted that although the result did not favour his aspiration, the struggle was never about personal ambition but about the development and future of Kogi East under the APC.
The APC chieftain said he accepted the outcome of the primary in good faith and without bitterness, stressing that the unity and success of the party remained paramount.
“I hereby accept the outcome of this primary election in good faith and without bitterness. The APC is bigger than any individual ambition, and I choose to honour the will of our great party with dignity and grace,” he stated.
Diche also urged his supporters to remain calm, united, and committed to the ruling party, assuring them that their loyalty and love for Kogi East should not be weakened by the outcome of the exercise.
He congratulated Erico on his victory and charged him to carry the mandate of the district with integrity, dedication, and a spirit of service.
The former aspirant further pledged his personal support to the APC candidate and called on all his supporters to rally behind him ahead of the general election.
According to him, the collective interest of the party and effective representation for Kogi East should take precedence over individual interests.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the APC, expressing confidence that the party would emerge victorious in the forthcoming election.
