A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State and former House of Representatives aspirant for Idah Federal Constituency, Hon. Ogah Mark Okpanachi, has congratulated former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, Chief Joseph Ameh Erico, Senator Sunday Steve Karimi and other candidates who emerged victorious in the party’s senatorial primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Okpanachi, who is also the Director of the City Boy Movement (CBM) in Kogi State, described the outcome of the primaries as a clear indication of the confidence and trust party members have in the leadership capacity, experience, and commitment of the successful candidates toward strengthening the APC in Kogi State and across the country.

He commended the leadership of the APC in Kogi State for maintaining a strong political structure and ensuring unity within the party, noting that such efforts would further advance the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to him, the APC remains one united family, urging all aspirants, supporters, and stakeholders across Kogi East, Kogi West, and Kogi Central to embrace unity and cooperation in the interest of the party.

Okpanachi also appealed to those who contested in the primaries to remain committed to the APC, stressing that every aspirant contributed significantly to deepening internal democracy and mobilizing grassroots support for the party.

He emphasized that the party’s ultimate objective ahead of the 2027 elections should be collective victory rather than personal ambition, calling on members to close ranks and work together for the success of all APC candidates in the state.

“Politics should strengthen our unity, not divide us. The primary elections have come and gone, but the bigger task before us is to remain united and secure overwhelming victory for President Tinubu and the APC in 2027,” he stated.

The APC stalwart further prayed for wisdom, strength, and success for party leaders and candidates as preparations begin for the forthcoming general elections.
