Delta Governor Oborevwori Appoints New Commissioners, DESOPADEC Board Member, Judicial Service Commission Members
Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, has approved the appointment of two new Honourable Commissioners as part of efforts to strengthen the Delta State Executive Council.
According to an official statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, the newly appointed commissioners are:
Mr. Brave Oyinkoro Enodeh
Mr. Ogodo Emokiniovo Moses

The governor also approved the appointment of Mr. Cosmas Igbenije as a member of the Governing Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC).

The appointment is expected to further enhance the commission’s role in driving sustainable development across Delta State’s oil-producing communities.
In addition, Governor Oborevwori approved the appointment of three new members into the Delta State Judicial Service Commission.
They are:
Joseph Obiananma Ojobu, Esq.
Chief James Omanudhowho Obeowou
Barr. Fun-Ebi Edonyabo
The appointments are aimed at strengthening the administration of justice and enhancing institutional efficiency within the state’s judiciary.

The SSG disclosed that the newly appointed commissioners, alongside the DESOPADEC board member and members of the Judicial Service Commission, will be sworn into office on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
The inauguration ceremony will take place at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba.
All appointees, their family members, and invited guests have been requested to be seated by 9:30 a.m. ahead of the commencement of the event.
