As political activities begin to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, youths of the Sensenyi community in Kogi Local Government Area have hosted the African Democratic Congress House of Representatives candidate for Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon. Adamu Ahmed Danjuma, popularly known as Quincy, in a strategic political meeting aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization.

The meeting focused on developing effective strategies to consolidate support at the grassroots and ensure victory for the ADC candidate in the 2027 election.

Speaking on behalf of the Sensenyi youths, Zakari Isah expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of the incumbent lawmaker and the ruling party, accusing them of neglecting the community despite receiving massive support during the 2023 elections.

According to Isah, the community has continued to suffer from poor infrastructure and lack of basic amenities, despite several appeals to the current House of Representatives member.

“Hon. Adamu Ahmed Danjuma Quincy stopped at Sensenyi on his way from Abuja to Lokoja to interact with our youths. During the meeting, we highlighted some of the major challenges facing our community and how the APC-led representation has failed to address them,” he said.

He further disclosed that the community had repeatedly appealed to the current representative to provide solar-powered streetlights but had received only promises without action.

“We wrote several times requesting solar streetlights, but nothing has been done. The promises have remained unfulfilled,” he added.

Responding, Hon. Quincy assured the community of his commitment to inclusive representation and immediate support for community development.

He pledged to provide 12 solar streetlights to improve security and social activities in the area, while also donating N200,000 to support youth activities.

Meanwhile, Quincy used the opportunity to unveil his Six-Point Agenda for the development of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency.

The agenda includes:
