APC Presidential Primary: Kogi City Boy Movement Urges Support for Tinubu
The Kogi State chapter of the City Boy Movement (CBM) has urged members of ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to participate actively in the party’s presidential primary election and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement issued and signed by its State Director, Ogah Mark Okpanachi, the group called on party members across Kogi State to vote for President Tinubu, describing the primary as an opportunity to reaffirm confidence in his administration and its “Renewed Hope Agenda”.
The group praised the government’s economic and social policies, saying the administration had introduced reforms aimed at improving infrastructure, expanding educational opportunities, supporting agriculture, and empowering young people.
It highlighted initiatives including the Student Loan Scheme, social investment programmes, road construction projects, and measures aimed at strengthening local government administration and encouraging entrepreneurship.
According to the statement, the policies introduced by the Tinubu administration have created a foundation for long-term economic growth and national development.
The movement also argued that continuity in leadership would help consolidate ongoing reforms and ensure that their benefits reach more Nigerians.
It appealed to APC members to conduct themselves peacefully during the exercise and uphold democratic values and party unity.
“Together, we can sustain the momentum of progress and build a more prosperous future for generations to come,” the statement said.
