Abdulmutalib Musa Toto Calls for Egbira Unity, Urges Rep Ari to Accept Defeat
A youth mobiliser and stalwart of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Abdulmutalib Musa, has called on the Egbira people to remain united and rally behind the government in the interest of peace, progress, and development in the area.
Musa also urged the incumbent member representing Toto/Nasarawa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mohammed Abdulmumini Ari, to accept defeat and move on, stressing that the lawmaker had lost political support due to what he described as a lack of visible projects and meaningful development across the constituency.
Speaking in Toto, Musa claimed that many residents were dissatisfied with the representation of the federal lawmaker and no longer supported his bid for another term in office.
According to him, the people of Toto and Nasarawa had grown weary of the incumbent’s leadership style, stressing that the constituency deserved more impactful and people-oriented representation.
The APC stalwart further recalled that Ari allegedly emerged in the previous two elections through imposition rather than the popular choice of the people, adding that the current political atmosphere reflected growing public discontent.

Musa also alleged that several of the lawmaker’s coordinators and political associates had distanced themselves from him after recognising the mood and frustrations of the people ahead of the elections.
He appealed to Egbiras, political stakeholders, community leaders, and residents of the area to put aside their differences and work collectively toward unity, peace, and sustainable development in Toto Local Government Area and the wider federal constituency.
