During a recent visit to Chun Mada Samson Gamu Yare, Dr. Esla Abene, expressed his commitment to achieving targets and improving healthcare services in the area.

Recently, Governor Abdullahi Sule appointed Dr. Esla Abene, a Consultant Nephrologist, as the Pioneer Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Dalhatu Specialist Hospital (DASH) Akwanga as part of strategic move to boost healthcare services in the state.

To hit the ground running, Dr. Abene led management team on a familiarization tour to meet stakeholders and traditional leaders to seek partnership and support for the hospital’s growth and success.

At the Chun Mada’s palace, Dr. Abene emphasized the importance of collaboration, stating they were there to introduce themselves and the new management team.

 

He urged the traditional ruler’s support and other critical stakeholders to drive the hospital’s mission forward and assured that the management under his leadership would work tirelessly to reposition the hospital.

Chun Mada Samson Gamu Yare welcomed the initiative, stressing the need for public interest over personal gains.

He assured the team of his support, urging them to focus on delivering quality healthcare services to the community, said this development is expected to enhance the hospital’s reputation and provide better medical care to residents of Akwanga and surrounding areas.
