According to Edu, the Imo title, Oso Di Eme, meaning “She who supports her husband,” aptly reflects Senator Tinubu’s role as a supportive partner to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
She said the First Lady had remained committed to supporting the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda through various initiatives targeted at vulnerable Nigerians.
“Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, the Mother of the Nation, is indeed a worthy partner of her husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
“As he is working, she is working. As the President continues to serve the nation, the First Lady has equally remained committed to supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda through her various social intervention programmes,” Edu said.
The APC women’s mobilisation directorate also congratulated the First Lady on her conferment with the Ugoeze title in Anambra by HRM Igwe Chidubem Iweka.
Edu said the honour was in recognition of Senator Tinubu’s contributions to national development, grassroots initiatives and support for the Tinubu administration.
She noted that the honours from Imo and Anambra demonstrated growing recognition of the First Lady’s activities beyond political and geographical boundaries.
During her Anambra visit, Senator Tinubu also flagged off the National Community Food Bank Programme, which is aimed at addressing child malnutrition across the South-East.

Edu said the completion of the zonal rollout of the programme across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones represented an important milestone in efforts to improve child nutrition and support vulnerable families.
At the Federal Polytechnic Oko, the First Lady inaugurated the RHI/TETFUND ICT Experience Centre and encouraged students to responsibly embrace technology and emerging opportunities, including artificial intelligence.
She also flagged off the distribution of empowerment items provided by the Anambra State Government to 5,000 beneficiaries, with each beneficiary receiving a ₦100,000 financial grant.
Edu commended the governments, people and traditional institutions of Imo and Anambra states for honouring the First Lady.
