The Coalition of Youth Support Group for Wadada 2027 has sought the collaboration of Arc. Shehu Ahmed Tukur, Sarkin Padan Keffi, in strengthening its grassroots mobilisation and youth-oriented programmes ahead of the 2027 General Election.
The request was made when the leadership of the Coalition, led by its Chairman, Comr. Jaafar Muhammad Loko, paid a courtesy visit to Arc. Tukur at his office in Guzape, Abuja.
During the engagement, the Coalition appointed Tukur as its Zonal Patron for Nasarawa West and presented him with the official appointment letter.
The Chairman explained that the visit was part of the organisation’s stakeholder outreach programme designed to introduce its objectives, vision, operational structure and activities to stakeholders across Nasarawa State.
The Coalition also sought Tukur’s support in advancing programmes aimed at encouraging grassroots participation, political awareness, youth mobilisation and empowerment initiatives.
The delegation further solicited his collaboration in promoting the victory of Senator Ahmed Wadada and other APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
Responding, Arc. Tukur thanked the Coalition for the confidence reposed in him and accepted the responsibility.
He pledged his commitment to supporting the organisation in achieving its objectives, while urging its leadership and members to remain united and focused.
Tukur advised the youth group to place the collective interest of Nasarawa State above individual considerations.
He said members should remain conscious of the state’s future and work towards initiatives capable of benefiting present and future generations.
On the political situation, Tukur expressed support for Senator Ahmed Wadada, the APC and the party’s candidates.
He described Wadada’s emergence as the will of God and called for sincerity, commitment and unity of purpose among party supporters.
He also reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and his readiness to support the party’s candidates.
The Zonal Patron commended Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for his contributions to Nasarawa State and encouraged residents to continue supporting and praying for the Governor during the transition period.
The delegation included officials of the Coalition from various local government areas of Nasarawa State.
The meeting also featured the submission of a proposal for an educational initiative, alongside the presentation of the appointment letter and a group photograph.
