…Promises Empowerment Programme for Members, donate 200,000 for Igalamela/Odolu chapter
The State Director of the City Boy Movement (CBM), Kogi State Chapter, Hon. Mark Ogah Okpanachi, has reaffirmed the movement’s determination to strengthen grassroots political participation as it continued its statewide mobilisation tour in Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area.
In a press statement issued by Blessing Julius Ele-Ojo, ANIPR, State Media and Publicity Director City Boy Movement, Kogi State Chapter, said the visit, which attracted party leaders, youth groups and supporters, formed part of ongoing consultations aimed at expanding the movement’s membership base and consolidating support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Receiving the delegation, the Local Government Coordinator, Hon. Ahmed Sidi, commended the state leadership for maintaining regular engagement with members and disclosed that membership registration had recorded significant progress following directives issued during the movement’s State Executive Council meeting in Lokoja.
Speaking at the gathering, Hon. Mark Ogah urged members to intensify mobilisation efforts and encourage more residents, particularly young people, to register with the movement and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
He announced plans to establish a permanent City Boy Movement Membership Registration Centre in the local government to sustain recruitment and strengthen grassroots coordination.
In support of the chapter’s activities, the State Director donated ₦200,000 to enhance membership registration, mobilisation and organisational programmes.
He further pledged to return with an empowerment initiative designed to support members economically while expanding the movement’s reach across the local government.
Hon. Ogah reiterated the movement’s commitment to promoting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and supporting Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s development programmes through sustained grassroots engagement.
The delegation included Barr. Victor Apaila, Hon. Blessing Julius Ele-Ojo, Hon. Samson Menyaga, Hon. Deborah Omoniwa, Hon. Hannah Akubo and other leaders and stakeholders of the movement.
