ANCY Backs Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election Bid, Vows Grassroots Mobilisation
The Alliance of North Central Youth (ANCY) has reaffirmed its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing confidence that his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda remains on track and declaring its readiness to mobilise support for his re-election in 2027.
In a statement signed by its National Coordinator of ANCY, Comrade Gabriel Joshua Ojochegbe, the youth group said it remains committed to grassroots mobilisation, youth empowerment, and civic engagement across the North Central region.
The organisation maintained that continuity in leadership and government policies is vital to achieving sustainable national development, stressing that young people have a critical role to play in strengthening Nigeria’s democracy.
“Tell them, PBAT is coming again in 2027. Our conviction is rooted in our belief that sustained leadership, continuity of policies, and active youth participation are essential for national development. We will continue to mobilise, educate, and encourage Nigerians to participate peacefully and democratically in the electoral process,” the statement read.
ANCY also urged its members and supporters to remain law-abiding and embrace issue-based political participation. The group called on Nigerians to promote peace, national unity, and democratic values as preparations gradually begin for the 2027 general elections.
