Presidential Primary: Solomon Mobilises APC Members for Tinubu’s Adoption
The Delta State Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, has directed coordinators across the various local government areas of the state to mobilise members of the All Progressives Congress for the party’s presidential direct primaries.
Solomon urged party members to come out en masse in their respective wards to vote for the adoption of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the APC presidential flag bearer.
In a message addressed to the local government coordinators, Solomon described the exercise as the first major assignment for the group and a test of its organisational strength and commitment.
“As coordinators, tomorrow’s presidential direct primaries of our party, the APC, is our first major assignment — a litmus test of some sort,” he stated.
He further noted that the exercise was significant because the state governor serves as the coordinator and collation officer for the primaries in Delta State.
Solomon therefore charged all LGA coordinators to work closely with the party leadership and other stakeholders to ensure massive voter turnout across the state.
“All LGA Coordinators are urged to work hard with the party hierarchy and other stakeholders to ensure that we deliver massive votes in our various LGAs in line with the directive and desire of His Excellency, the Governor, to give Mr. President the highest votes possible in tomorrow’s congress,” he added.
He expressed confidence that the mobilisation effort would further strengthen the party in the state and make both the governor and Delta APC leadership proud.
