Maikaya Bows to Party Decision, Endorses Wadada for Governorship
A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya, has expressed appreciation to his supporters and campaign team for their unwavering loyalty throughout his political journey.
In a statement addressed to his supporters, Maikaya commended their dedication, sacrifices, and commitment to his aspiration for the Nasarawa State governorship, describing their support as “humbling and inspiring.”
He acknowledged the decision of Governor Abdullahi A. Sule in endorsing Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada as the party’s preferred candidate, noting that he accepts the outcome with respect and a strong sense of responsibility.
According to him, internal democracy within the APC is anchored on unity, discipline, and collective progress.
Maikaya congratulated Senator Wadada on his emergence, expressing confidence in his ability to lead the party to victory and contribute to the development of the state.
