Speaking on his recent defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Accord Party, Abdulrahman emphasized that the decision was neither driven by anger nor personal grievances. Abdulrahman noted that despite his departure from the APC, he remains appreciative of the support and opportunities he received from the Nasarawa State Government under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Sule and the First Lady.
He reaffirmed his respect and loyalty to the administration, expressing gratitude for the confidence reposed in him over the years.
“I wish to make it clear that my respect, loyalty, and appreciation remain with the Government of Nasarawa State, particularly His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule, and Her Excellency, the First Lady. I remain grateful for their support and encouragement,” he stated.
The politician assured residents of Keffi West that his values, humility, and commitment to public service remain unchanged despite his new political affiliation.
According to him, his primary objective remains the advancement of the constituency and the improvement of the welfare of the people.
He also extended an olive branch to anyone who may have felt disappointed by his departure from the APC, offering a sincere apology and stressing that his decision was not targeted at any individual or institution.
“My actions are motivated solely by my desire to continue serving my people and contributing positively to the development of our constituency,” he said.
As preparations intensify for the election, Abdulrahman appealed for sustained support and prayers from community leaders, youth organizations, family members, political associates, and grassroots groups across Keffi and Nasarawa State.
