FOSIECON Calls for 1% First-Line Charge Funding for SIECs, Says Voter Apathy Driven by Insecurity, Distrust
FOSIECON has advocated a statutory 1% First-Line Charge from local government allocations to fund State Independent Electoral Commissions, warning that insecurity, political distrust, misinformation and weak voter education continue to discourage electoral participation in Nigeria.
