Prof Sandra Duru Vows No Mercy on Natasha Akpoti Over Doctored Audio, Kill Plot
…Insists on police briefing amid AGF discontinuance saga, Akpabio witness link
Prof. Sandra C. Duru, the dogged petitioner in the explosive case against Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has fired a salvo, vowing not to back down from her petitions before the Nigeria Police Force and the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF).
In a blistering “Public Notice and Legal Clarification,” the fiery Prof. Duru, who doubles as a witness in Senate President Godswill Akpabio’s matter, slammed mischief-makers for twisting facts to protect suspects, declaring her petitions rock-solid in the interest of Nigeria.
Prof. Mgbeke, whose real name is Dr. Sandra Duru, is a Nigerian-born US-based activist and media personality
“My fellow Nigerians, stay calm and obey the law as we await official answers to our properly filed petitions. No Nigerian is above another, and no crime, however sugar-coated by politics or emotion, will be swept under the carpet,” she thundered.
Prof. Duru, who insists she’s an “independent petitioner” with zero political links to Akpabio beyond her witness role, dismissed withdrawal rumours as pure balderdash.”I have NOT withdrawn my petitions and I have NO plans to do so,” she hammered home, clarifying that the AGF’s December 15, 2025, Notice of Discontinuance, issued weeks before Akpabio’s “emotional Christmas/New Year speech”, covered only his case, not hers.
She stressed that her petition against Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan was filed solo in April 2025, without Akpabio tagging along.
The Police duly assigned investigators, but Prof. Duru claims she was never served the report despite repeated demands.
“My matter is NOT among those discontinued by the AGF, which named only Akpabio and ex-Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello. Prof. Sandra Duru was NOT listed. My case hangs fire, unresolved, unprosecuted,” the notice roared.

Prof. Duru pointed to Natasha’s own police statement admitting contact, backed by Mr. Ina’s testimony. Yet, she accused Natasha and “hired whistleblowers” of crying foul that the audio was “cloned, doctored, AI-generated”, even alleging Prof. Duru paid for it.
“But independent forensic tests have smashed these lies to smithereens,” she dropped.
The stakes shot up with global alarms: references to Miss Umoren’s grisly murder, organ harvesting scandals, and a transplant tied to Akpabio’s wife.
“The nation demands answers: What did probes uncover? Who takes the blame? Where are the prosecutions?” Prof. Duru challenged.
Brushing off jabs at her sanity, she fired back: “Am I mad… or did I hand over solid, forensically verified evidence to the Police in good faith?” She demanded an “official police press briefing” pronto to dispel fog, rebuild trust, and unleash “relentless prosecution of all guilty parties, free from political meddling.”
“I trust our authorities will do their constitutional duty. Nigeria must work. Justice must roar. The law must win,” Prof. Duru said in her signed off Public Notice Statement.
