The Former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Adoza Bello has expressed confidence in the ability of the new Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, Prof. Salihu Sanusi Avidime, at providing purposeful Leadership in the Institution.
A Statement by the Ag. Co-ordinator, Directorate of Public Relations, KSP Lokoja, John Amos Onimisi, explained that the Former Governor – Bello, gave the assurance when he received the Rector who was on a Courtesy visit to his residence in Abuja.
He commended Prof. Avidime for his impeccable character, describing him as a leader distinguished by sheer humility and unfading commitment to efficiency.
“I have no doubt in your capacity to provide purposeful leadership for the continued progress of the Institution”, he said.
The Former Governor further assured the Rector of his support, noting that his doors remain open for consultation and collaboration whenever necessary.
Earlier, the Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Prof. Salihu Sanusi Avidime, expressed profound appreciation for the Former Governor’s inspiring leadership and sought his continued guidance and support at strengthening the Institution’s development.
Prof. Avidime described Bello as a benefactor whose visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the growth of the education sector remains laudable in view of his achievements in the Sector during his time as the Executive Governor of the Confluence State.
The KSP Rector further sought the counsel of the Former Governor on strategies that would enhance administrative efficiency, academic excellence, and infrastructural development at the Polytechnic.
