The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ondo State extends its heartfelt commendation to the National Leadership for hosting a successful National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting. The meeting, which brought together party stalwarts from across the country, marked a significant milestone in the party’s journey towards strengthening its internal democracy and positioning itself as a credible opposition platform.
A major highlight of the meeting was the approval of a clear timetable for congresses and convention, demonstrating the party’s commitment to democratic principles and good governance. This roadmap will undoubtedly enhance the party’s growth and development, ensuring that all structures are in place for a robust and inclusive decision-making process.
The Ondo State chapter particularly applauds the National Leadership for promoting internal democracy, a crucial aspect of any thriving political party. The commitment to inclusivity and participatory governance is evident in the party’s actions, and this has earned the trust and confidence of members and supporters alike.

Furthermore, we note the diverse challenges facing particularly in the South West and some other states. In this regard, we call on the National Leadership to expedite efforts towards ensuring cohesion and unity within the party. The South West, as a critical region, requires focused attention and strategic leadership to address pressing issues and unlock its vast potential.
To this end, we urge the National Leadership to leverage this momentum to foster greater unity and cooperation among party members, stakeholders, and other political actors in the region. By doing so, we can collectively contribute to Nigeria’s progress and development.
In conclusion, the Ondo State ADC reaffirms its support for the National Leadership’s vision and efforts. We are confident that with continued focus on internal democracy, inclusivity, and good governance, ADC will emerge as a major force in Nigerian politics, offering a beacon of hope for a better future.
