Olamaboro Local Government is a leading example of youth empowerment in Kogi State, driven by the visionary leadership of Comr Ameh Williams, the Executive Chairman of the Council.
Williams led Olamaboro LGC has facilitated youth inclined initiatives including skill acquisition, sports, and sustainable youth development
The Chairman has made a significant strides in youth empowerment, innovation, and development through inclusive programs aimed at preparing youths for future growth and sustainability.
The council under Comr Williams has notably advanced sporting activities with the construction of a volleyball/basketball court and a skill acquisition center to benefit youths and encourage community engagement.
These efforts have been recognized and supported by state officials like Monday Anyebe, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports development, who praised Olamaboro for setting new standards in sports participation across the state.

Speaking on the success recorded so far, Comrade Ameh Williams attributed the achievements to the visionary leadership and exemplary governance model of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo , the Executive Governor of Kogi State.
