Obaro Charity Foundation Awards Full Scholarship To Student

Obaro Charity Foundation founder and Managing Director of Frebut Oil and Gas, Engr. Burutu Obaro Freedom has awarded a full scholarship to Akpoturu Ogheneruonano from the Igbide community to study Petroleum Engineering at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Warri.

The award was announced on Monday, November 17, in line with the foundation’s ongoing education-support initiative for young people across the Isoko nation.

Engr. Obaro said the beneficiary was selected strictly on merit, noting that the foundation’s interventions are driven by his commitment to “advancing education for youths and children in Isoko.”

Akpoturu, who was among the 85 students sponsored by the foundation for the last WAEC examination, expressed gratitude to the benefactor, saying, “his kindness will resonate throughout my journey, inspiring me to make a meaningful impact in the world.”

The foundation said it will continue to expand its scholarship and youth development programmes as part of its long-term social investment agenda.
