Nasarawa Speaker Felicitates Emir of Lafia on 7th Anniversary, Hails him as symbol of peace, unity

As the Emir of Lafia, retired Justice Sidi Bage Mohammed, marks seven years on his ancestral throne, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, Ph.D., has called for sustained prayers and support to ensure the royal father’s continued success.
The Speaker, who joined other citizens in celebrating the monarch, described the Emir’s seven-year reign as “highly exceptional, rewarding and beneficial” to Nasarawa State and the nation at large.
While hailing Justice Bage as a role model, bridge builder and symbol of unity with “high respect and integrity,” Dr. Jatau praised his unwavering commitment to peace, unity and development in society.
The Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen also commended the Chairman of the State Traditional Council of Chiefs for his concern for the vulnerable, his fight against child abuse, and his advocacy for better education, especially for the girl child.
He urged citizens to keep praying for and supporting the Emir to build on the solid foundation already laid for everyone’s benefit.
Speaker Jatau congratulated the Paramount Ruler on his seventh anniversary, praying God to grant retired Justice Sidi Bage Mohammed long life, good health and wisdom in the years ahead.
