The Director-General, Kogi State Utility Infrastructure Management and Compliance Agency (KUIMCA), Hon. Taofiq Isah, has congratulated Muslims in Kogi State on the celebration of 2026 Eid al-fitr celebration, marking the close of Ramadan fast.
Hon. Taofiq in his Felicitation Message, commended Muslims for their patience, resilience and cheerful acts during the Ramadan season, describing such as one that pleases Allah.
He said the act of giving arms, showing concern for others, commitment to prayers and studying of the Holy Qur’an during the Ramadan should be sustained by all and sundry, stressing that such will go a long way at making the Society a better place for all.
The Former Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area and ALGON Chairman in Kogi State, condemned the recent attack in the Area which claimed the lives of innocent citizens, praying for the peaceful repose of the souls of the victims.
The Director General of KUIMCA said there is no reasonable explanation to taking the lives of others, noting that the State Government – under the Leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo will not condone men of the underworld in the State.
While calling for calm among the people of the Area, he also enjoined Leaders of Kogi West extraction, both at home and in the diaspora, to unite, hold meetings with Security Agencies and work as a team at fighting the common enemy that is causing unrest in the Area.
Dr. Taofiq added that efforts are in top gear security wise, and in no distant time, results will be seen by all.
