The Member Representing Okehi Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Otokiti Alhassan Zakariya, has congratulated Muslim faithful in Okehi Constituency on the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, describing the festival as a season of gratitude and renewal after the spiritual discipline of Ramadan.
Hon. Otokiti in a Felicitation Message, commended Constituents for their devotion, charity and prayers during the holy month, noting that such sacrifices strengthen the moral fabric of the Society.
The Lawmaker urged residents to continue to imbibe and exhibit the values of Ramadan – compassion, self-restraint and generosity beyond the festivities into everyday life, stressing that unity and peaceful coexistence remain essential for progress to be achieved.
While calling on families and community groups to deepen neighbourliness and respect for diversity as the foundation for sustainable development in Okehi, Hon. Otokiti charged constituents to renew their commitment to societal development through practical community-driven actions.

He enjoined Stakeholders to work together in areas of education support, youth skills acquisition, sanitation and primary healthcare outreach, as such collective efforts can yield quick and visible impact across wards in the Area.
Hon. Otokiti appealed to well-meaning individuals, associations and faith-based groups to sustain acts of charity beyond Eid, encouraging continued support for vulnerable families, mentorship for young people, and partnerships with traditional and religious institutions to bolster local safety nets and community resilience.
While wishing all celebrants a peaceful and joyous Eid al-Fitr, he prayed for continued harmony in Okehi and Kogi State at large.
The Lawmaker also reaffirmed his readiness to collaborate with Constituents on development initiatives and assured that his office remains open to ideas and partnerships that advance the collective welfare of the Constituency.
