The people of Yagba Federal Constituency who are concerned about the recall of Elder Leke Abejide from the National Assembly in Abuja, have been assured that such attempt will not see the light of the day.
The Founder and National Coordinator of the Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group, Chief Richard Asaje who gave the assurance during the November Edition of the Group’s Meeting held in Isanlu, said for a man who is representing the interest of the people beyond expectations should be encouraged to enable him do rather than distracting him.
“How can Kingsley Temitope Ogga who was removed in 2022 as ADC Chairman in Kogi State now be plotting to remove a hard working House of Representatives Member? I wonder why he’s not even Police net by now
“The people should be assured that this attempt and unwarranted plot is dead on arrival. It will not see the light of the day”, he asserted.
The Elder statesman also assured that the people of Kogi West will re-elect Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo again, when the time is ripe.
“For us in Kogi West, becoming Governor of the Confluence State can only be made possible if we sustain this alignment with the people of the Central Senatorial District. We are in synergy already and there’s no point in shifting our grounds
“Let’s avoid sowing seeds of discord and stay focused. For us in Kogi West, Ododo’s 4+4 is Sacrosanct“.
While the State Government is playing her part at tackling security challenges in the Area, Chief Asaje stressed the need for the people to be security conscious at all times and report all suspicious persons and activities to relevant authorities for swift and coordinated response at bringing perpetrators to book.
