In a bold move to fortify its footprint in the North-Central region, the City Boy Movement has unveiled the Idah-born Hon. Mark Ogah Okpanachi, a renowned grassroots mobiliser, entrepreneur, and community pillar, as its Kogi State Director, charging him with the critical task of bolstering the group’s organisational framework and amplifying its political influence right from the wards to the state capitals.

As the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Anarock Global Services Limited and bearer of the esteemed traditional title of Omachi Éje-Ofu (Pillar of Ofu), Hon. Ogah’s appointment underscores the movement’s strategic pivot towards leaders who command genuine respect at the grassroots level, blending entrepreneurial savvy with deep-rooted cultural credibility to drive expansion across Kogi’s diverse local government areas.

The formal announcement came from the Director General of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, who hailed the decision as a masterstroke rooted in Hon. Ogah’s decades-long track record of youth mobilisation, political networking, and community stewardship, qualities he said are poised to inject fresh vigour into the movement’s state-wide operations.

“We are confident in his proven coordination skills and expansive local networks, which will consolidate our structures and rally the people behind our vision,”

Hon. Shoga affirmed, emphasising that this appointment is no mere formality but a calculated step to harness Hon. Ogah’s influence among political players, youth organisations, and community elders who have long admired his hands-on approach to development initiatives.

Hon. Ogah’s rise within the movement is a testament to his enduring legacy of purposeful engagement at the grassroots, where he has consistently earned accolades from stakeholders for fostering collective progress through well-organised programmes that bridge the gap between rhetoric and real impact, all underpinned by a leadership philosophy that thrives on proximity to the people and meticulous organisation.

This positions him ideally to galvanise wider participation in the City Boy Movement, transforming its core ideals into tangible momentum that resonates from the rural hamlets of Ofu Local Government to the urban hubs of Lokoja, thereby elevating Kogi’s chapter to a vanguard role in advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.

With the full backing of Director General Hon. Shoga, the encouragement of the movement’s Grand Patron, Seyi Tinubu, and the overarching goodwill of President Tinubu himself, whose blueprint for purposeful governance and national rejuvenation continues to propel the City Boy Movement’s nationwide surge, Hon. Ogah assumes his new role brimming with promise, ready to steer Kogi’s youth and communities towards a future of renewed political dynamism and inclusive progress.
