…..Tasks Christians to Embrace Love, Peace and Sacrifice
The Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Muhammad Adamu Oyanki, has urged Christians to uphold the virtues of love, peace, and sacrifice as exemplified by Jesus Christ and the ethics of Christmas season.
This, he said that such values attract divine blessings and promote peaceful coexistence among people in the society.
The Lawmaker made the call during the distribution of over two hundred and fifty bags of rice, cash gifts, and one hundred wrappers to christian faithful at his residence in Doma, today.
While speaking at the event, the Deputy Speaker said the gesture was aimed at ensuring that Christians in his constituency celebrate Christmas with joy and have a sense of belonging.
He explained that a substantial amount of money was expended on the palliatives as part of his commitment to improve the general welfare of his constituents and putting smiles on their faces during the festive period.
“We are giving out these palliatives with good intentions, in fulfillment of the promises we made during the electioneering campaign”
“There is five million naira cash, 50 bags of 50kg rice, 50 bags of 25kg,150 bags of 10kg and 100 wrappers” He said.

Oyanki further stressed that the distribution was intended to strengthen peace, unity, and progress among people of different religion backgrounds in the area.
While commending the gesture, by the Deputy Speaker, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Doma Local Government Area, Hon. Hussaini Mailafiya, praised him for his generosity and urged him to sustain the initiative for greater impact.
