APC Unveils Timetable for Congresses, National Convention Ahead of 2027 Polls

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rolled out its comprehensive schedule for ward, local government, state, and zonal congresses, culminating in the National Convention, as it gears up for the 2027 general elections.

APC National Secretary, Dr. Ajibola Basiru, announced that notices for Ward and Local Government Congresses will drop on February 2, 2026.

Form sales and submissions follow from February 4 to 9, 2026.

Ward Congresses are fixed for February 18, with Local Government Congresses on February 20. Appeals from these will be resolved between February 21 and 22.

State Congresses come next on March 7, 2026, followed by Zonal Congresses across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones on March 21.
