Kogi PDP Chairman Hails NEC Decisions, Urges Unity After Court Ruling
Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has called for unity among party members following Sunday’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in Abuja.
The meeting, the first since a court ruling affirmed Hon. Abdulrahman Muhammed as Caretaker Chairman, produced far-reaching decisions to reposition the PDP for victory, Hon. Gambo told newsmen in Lokoja.

He stressed that the judgement marked the time for members to sacrifice personal interests for the party’s collective good, describing PDP as Nigeria’s leading opposition with the experience to restore national prosperity after years in power.
Hon. Gambo particularly urged Kogi PDP faithful to unite and build a strong, indivisible party, appealing to them to sheath their swords as the court’s ruling and party constitution remain supreme.
He praised the leadership of Hon. Abdulrahman Muhammed for demonstrating capacity to move the party forward.
The law mandates regular NEC meetings, Hon. Gambo noted, adding that the PDP now has a solid platform to reclaim power in 2027 and steer Nigeria back to the path of prosperity.
