2027: Karimi, Tinubu Sacrosanct

President Ahmed Bola Tinubu is gearing up for a convincing victory in the 2027 Presidential election, according to a Stakeholder of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi State, under the auspices of the Kogi Progressive Stakeholders Forum (KPSF). The forum is in support of the re- election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
He noted that Tinubu’s leadership and policy direction are said to be positioning the country for economic stabilisation, institutional strengthening, and national cohesion.

Similarly, he disclosed that Senator Karimi Sunday, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, is throwing his weight behind Tinubu’s re-election bid.
He said Karimi believes Tinubu’s efforts are focused on national development and security, despite prevailing challenges.
He urge his constituents to support Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC), emphasizing the need for unity among political stakeholders in Kogi State.
He listed some of Tinubu’s notable achievements include:
– Economic Reforms: Removal of fuel subsidy, expected to save Nigeria N3.9 trillion ($5.10 billion) in 2023
-Infrastructure Development: Resumption of critical road projects, including the Abuja-Lokoja-Okene and Okene-Auchi-Benin roads.
– Security Initiatives: Deployment of troops to address insecurity in Kogi West.
-Human Capital Investment: Accelerated attention to federal universities and appointments of Kogi State residents to various departments and agencies
He said Senator Sunday Karimi has been making waves in Kogi West with his impressive contributions also mentioned some of his notable projects include:
-Infrastructure Development
-Roads: Facilitated the reconstruction of the Pakuta Bridge and advocated for the dualization of the Abuja-Lokoja-Okene Highway
-Water Supply: Constructed 75 solar-powered boreholes and rehabilitated 60 moribund water schemes across communities.
– Education
-Scholarships: Awarded ₦100 million to 1,000 indigent students and pledged ₦300 million for statewide scholarships
– Infrastructure: Donated ₦200 million for Titcombe College Egbe upgrades
– Healthcare.
-Hospitals: Invested ₦150 million in the Edo Community Hospital and donated ₦11 million to Ijumu Anglican Diocese Nursing School.
-Security
– Military Base: Constructed a Forward Operating Base (FOB) Egbe and equipped a military base in Yagba West.
-Empowerment.
-Women’s Empowerment: Granted ₦100 million to cooperative societies for business growth.
-Food Security: Provided trailers of rice and semovita to ease food insecurity
He noted that Karimi’s efforts have earned him recognition as a champion of development in Kogi West. He added that the Senator has also sponsored several bills and motions, including the Central Bank of Nigeria (Amendment Bill 2023).
Senator Karimi he explained has also made significant strides in his legislative career, focusing on key areas like education, security, agriculture, and infrastructure. Some of his notable achievements include
-Agriculture: Sponsored the Agricultural Credit Guarantee Scheme Fund (Amendment) Bill 2023 to improve farmers’ access to credit.
– Infrastructure: Facilitated the construction of 75 solar-powered boreholes and rehabilitation of 60 moribund water schemes across Kogi West.
– Legislation: Sponsored bills like the Central Bank of Nigeria (Amendment Bill 2023) and the National Fertilizer Quality Control Bill 2023
Sen. Karimi he added has also championed various motions, including the Urgent Need to Address Hunger, Hardship & Depreciating Welfare and the Need to Rescue the Naira from Continuous Depreciation.
He concluded by saying that if the performance of President Tinubu and Sen. Karimi is anything to go by, expressed optimism that working collectively by the APC members, an overwhelming margin of lead will be secured by the duo in the 2027 General election.
