Nasarawa Speaker’s Wife Empowers Widows, Orphans with Wrappers, Cooking Items Worth Millions in Kokona LGA

Wife of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Speaker, Mrs. Theresa Kaka Danladi, has distributed wrappers and cooking items worth millions of naira to widows, orphans, and other less-privileged persons across all electoral wards in Kokona Local Government Area.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Jibrin Gwamna, noted the empowerment exercise, which took place Wednesday in Garaku, the council headquarters, saw the items handed over to councilors from various wards for onward distribution to beneficiaries.

Mrs. Danladi, spouse of Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, said the gesture was designed to help the vulnerable celebrate the New Year 2026 with joy and dignity.
She urged recipients not to sell the items but to use them for their intended purposes, while assuring of her sustained support for the less-privileged.
The Speaker’s wife also appealed for prayers and backing for her husband and other leaders to succeed in office. She commended the people of Kokona LGA and Nasarawa State for their love and support for her family, wishing everyone a prosperous 2026.
Beneficiaries and councilors who received the items on behalf of their wards expressed profound gratitude, praying for divine rewards for Mrs. Danladi’s benevolence.
