Media Personality Peter Ewu Empowers Over 30 Widows with Wrappers in Keffi

In a heartwarming display of kindness, media personality Peter Theophilus Ewu distributed wrappers to widows in Sabon Gari, Keffi Local Government Area, on the eve of the 2025 Christmas celebration.
The gesture was in emulation of his boss, Prof. M.S Haruna, former Vice Chairman of NASENI and Governorship aspirant in 2027
Ewu emphasized that the donation aimed to cushion the effects of hardships faced by widows in the community, urging well-to-do individuals to prioritize their welfare.
“I personally donated the wrappers out of my meagre resources, courtesy of my boss contesting for Governorship in Nasarawa State,” he said, encouraging grassroots support.
Dr. Emmanuel Anjugu, a lecturer at Nasarawa State University Keffi, praised Ewu’s gesture, saying it would bring smiles to the widows’ faces.
“If wealthy people provide such humanitarian service, the society will be better,” he added.
Alhaji Iyal Hassan and Pastor Benjamin Baka commended Ewu’s benevolence and Prof. Haruna for grooming a humanitarian.
They urged support for Haruna’s 2027 Governorship bid, citing his achievements in public service.
Beneficiaries thanked Ewu for his kindness, praying for God’s abundant reward. The event showcased the power of community-driven kindness and support for vulnerable groups.
