Bureau DG, Oghenesivbe Donates ₦100,000 to Herdsmen Attack Victim in Kokori Inland
Olorogun Fred Latimore, Esq., Director-General, Delta State Bureau of Orientation and Communication, has donated the sum of ₦100,000 to Mr. Edafe French Efeurhobo, who was recently attacked by suspected herdsmen at his farm in Kokori Inland, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
The donation was presented on his behalf by Comrade Akpobo Imoni Osiebe, Special Assistant to the Director General of Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications, in the company of Hon. Oghoghorie Oghenevwede, Councilor representing DSIEC Ward 11, and other members of the entourage. The financial support is aimed at easing Mr. Edafe Efeurhobo’s medical expenses and assisting his ongoing treatment. He’s recovering and may be discharged in few days.
Condemning the attack, Oghenesivbe, assured the people that the government is deeply concerned about the incident and is already putting measures in place to prevent a recurrence of similar attacks in the future.
He further commended the gallant youths of Kokori and its environs for maintaining peace and order and for refusing to take the law into their own hands. According to him, the matter is under the close watch of the Delta State Government as of Friday, December 19, 2025, and all necessary steps are being taken to ensure justice and lasting peace in the area.
