Olokpe of Okpe congratulates Governor Okpebholo on behalf of Okpe Kingdom

The Olokpe of Okpe Kingdom in Akoko-Edo, Edo State, His Royal Highness Oba Okhishimede Eshimokhai Idogu III, has felicitated with His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo on his one year in office as the Executive Governor of Edo State.
Oba Okhishimede conveyed his congratulations on behalf of the people of Okpe Kingdom, acknowledging the governor’s leadership milestone.
Oba Okhishimede Eshimokhai Idogu III is the traditional ruler of Okpe Kingdom in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area. He holds the title “Olokpe” and is recognized with honors such as JP and OON, reflecting his standing in the community and the state.
Governor Monday Okpebholo took office as Edo State governor following his election in 2024 and has received commendations from multiple traditional rulers and figures for his governance.
The Olokpe’s congratulatory statement is part of the customary respect and goodwill extended from traditional institutions to elected leadership
“In just one year in office, it is very clear your administration is focused on delivering the dividends of democracy. We are now witnessing the visionary leadership you promised during your campaigns through your commitment to transparency, accountability and openness.”
“Your interventions in critical areas such as constructions, health, empowerment and education has ignited the hope of the ordinary man that there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
“On behalf of the good people of Okpe Kingdom, I wish to ask the Almighty God to grant you strength, wisdom, grace and vision to continue to drive the vehicle of development and growth towards enviable heights. It is obvious Edo is rising under your administration.”
The Olokpe of Okpe admonished the Governor to be dutifully focused on his mandate. He said he should not pay attention to political distractions.
