As Delta State celebrates 35 years of statehood, APC candidate for Isoko North State Constituency, Engr. Orobosa Uzuazomaro Ashakah, has called for collective efforts to secure a more prosperous and peaceful future for the state.

Ashakah congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Deltans in a goodwill message marking the anniversary.

He described the 35-year journey as a story of resilience and enterprise, commending residents for their sacrifices and commitment to Delta’s progress.

The APC candidate said the anniversary offered an opportunity to celebrate past achievements while learning from the experiences of the past three and a half decades.

Call for Collective Responsibility

He said sustainable development required collective action, responsible leadership and unity among citizens.

The APC candidate also encouraged Deltans, particularly youths, to remain committed to peace, innovation, entrepreneurship and community development.
