The APC Youth Network West Africa said Israel’s experience as National Youth Leader had positioned him to understand the dynamics of youth engagement and grassroots political mobilisation.
It said the 2027 election would require a well-organised youth mobilisation strategy, given the growing importance of young Nigerians in determining electoral outcomes.
The group expressed confidence that the new Deputy Director, Youth Mobilisation, would use his leadership experience to coordinate APC youth structures and deepen participation among young Nigerians.
It also pledged its support for efforts to build a strong and united campaign structure ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
According to the organisation, youth mobilisation would be central to the campaign for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the continuation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The group further said APC youth structures in Nigeria and the diaspora had a role to play in ensuring effective grassroots engagement and political mobilisation.
“Your appointment comes at a critical moment when the effective mobilisation of Nigeria’s vibrant youth population will be central to building a strong, united and formidable campaign,” the organisation stated.
The APC Youth Network West Africa urged Israel to bring his energy, strategic thinking and organisational skills to bear on the new responsibility.
The organisation wished him success in the assignment and prayed for wisdom, strength and good health as he undertakes what it described as an important national responsibility.
Igbasan concluded the congratulatory message with a call for collective action, saying: “The assignment is great. The responsibility is historic. The youth mobilisation is strategic. The victory ahead is collective.”
