Engr. Adams C. Okoene is a great son of Eilu and one of Nigeria very best and a prominent chartered engineer, oil and gas veteran, and fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) who formerly served as the Managing Director of Midwestern Oil & Gas.
Spent over 30 years with Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) in Nigeria and the Netherlands before retiring in 1999. Joined Midwestern Oil & Gas as Managing Director in 2005, later serving as Chairman of Zobeten Petroleum Nigeria Limited and Project Master Nigeria Limited.
Trained at the University of Technology, Loughborough, England, earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Serves on the Board of Trustees for Mudiame University. Involved with leadership at the Institute of Management Leadership & Productivity Development (IMLPD) and Enactus Nigeria.
Honored by the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Ekpoma Branch, which hosts an annual public lecture series in his honor.
