Lasting solution on who serves as the Odeyi Ohinoyi in Nasarawa State have been resolved during the visit of the Paramount Ruler of Ebira, His Royal Majesty, Alh. (Dr.) Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje.
While in Lafia, the Capital of Nasarawa State, the Ohinoyi of Ebira had hours of interaction with the Ebira Community in the State, where vital issues were discussed.
Part of the issues raised was the Leadership Tussle of who serves as the Leader of Ebiras in Nasarawa State. After long deliberation and explanation, His Royal Majesty reaffirmed Alh. Yunusa Ariba as the Odeyi Ohinoyi in Nasarawa, bringing to rest, standing issues surrounding position.
Alh. Abubakar Sadiq is to serve as the Odovidi in Lafia while Alh. Hassan Chatta will serve as a Daudu designate following his track records and commitment to peace building among the Ebiras in Nasarawa State.
The resolve brought joy amongst the Ebiras as the factions involved agreed to work as a family, and praised the Ohinoyi for his display of wisdom at bringing lasting solutions to the internal Leadership issues.
Dr. Anaje while addressing the people pointed out that leadership position exists for smooth administrative process, advising those called to lead to do their best at leading the people rightly.
His Royal Majesty commended the sportsman spirit displayed by all parties who have forgone all grievances to work as one, noting that progress and development can only be achieved in a peaceful atmosphere.
He enjoyed them to continue to maintain peace and orderliness in Nasarawa State and as well, work with the leadership of the State to attract democracy dividends to the Community.
