The Coalition of Youth Support Group for Wadada 2027 has congratulated the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, and the Senator-elect for Nasarawa North, Barr. Danladi Umar Halillu Envul-Anza (OON), on the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s victory in the recently concluded Nasarawa North Senatorial bye-election.

In a statement signed by its leader, Comrade Jaafar M. Loko, the group described the victory as a clear demonstration of the confidence reposed in the APC by the people of Nasarawa North.

The coalition praised Governor Sule for his leadership, commitment, and strategic coordination, noting that his support played a crucial role in securing the party’s victory at the polls.

According to the statement, the governor’s dedication to the growth of the APC and the welfare of the people of Nasarawa State continues to inspire confidence and strengthen grassroots support across the state.

The group also congratulated Barr. Envul-Anza on his emergence as Senator-elect, describing his victory as well-deserved and a reflection of his credibility, vision, and the trust the people have in his leadership.

The coalition further commended the people of Nasarawa North for their resilience and unwavering support for the ruling party during the election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Barr. Envul-Anza of the APC winner of the bye-election after polling 45,362 votes.

His closest challengers, Labaran Maku of the Labour Party (LP) and Emmanuel Umbugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), secured 12,931 votes and 11,570 votes respectively.

The coalition said the outcome sends a strong message to both the opposition and detractors within the APC, reaffirming the party’s dominance in Nasarawa State.

Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, the group called on the people of the state to sustain the same spirit of unity and resilience to ensure the emergence of Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu as the next governor of Nasarawa State, alongside the victory of all APC candidates.

The statement concluded with a call for continued commitment to building a stronger, united, and more prosperous Nasarawa State.

“In God we trust.”
