The Babogunwa of Igbaruku, High Chief Richard Asaje has paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Aro Samuel Bamidele at the Federal Capital Territory FCT Abuja, describing him as a visionary leader whose focus is on service, unity and the progress of Kogi West.
Chief ASAJE during the visit, said Aro’s campaign was anchored on grassroots engagement and practical solutions to the challenges facing the district.
“What stood out in this process is your ability to connect with the people and speak directly to them and how fast you’ve been able to cement cordial relationships that will stand the test of time”, Asaje stated.
He also praised Aro’s peaceful disposition throughout the primary exercise of the All Progressives Congress APC in the Confluence State, urging him to State.
“Leadership is not just about contesting, it is about how you carry the people along before, during, and after the process. Sam Aro has shown maturity and a deep sense of responsibility. I have no doubt in his ability to lead the people of Kogi West right” he stressed.
Chief Asaje urged party members and supporters to remain calm and united, calling on all APC Members in Kogi West to rally behind Aro, stressing that the ultimate goal remains winning the general election and delivering quality representation.
“We must keep our eyes on the bigger picture, which is service to our people and the advancement of our district,” he said.
On his part, Hon. Sam Aro, who contested the Kogi West Senatorial ticket under the APC, expressed appreciation for the visit and for the goodwill extended to him by Chief Asaje, reiterating his commitment to the ideals of the APC and to the development of Kogi West.
