Hon. Idris Abubakar Gegu, a prominent grassroots mobiliser and political aide to Distinguished Senator Sunday Karimi, has applauded party stakeholders, loyal APC members, and electorates in Gegu South Electoral Ward for delivering a resounding 695 votes to Senator Karimi during the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary election in Kogi Local Government Area.
Speaking shortly after the exercise on Monday, Idris Gegu described the overwhelming victory recorded by Senator Karimi as a clear demonstration of the people’s confidence in the senator’s leadership capacity, impactful representation, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Kogi West Senatorial District.
According to him, the outcome of the primary election further confirms that the people of Kogi West remain solidly behind Senator Karimi owing to his people-oriented style of leadership, empowerment initiatives, and consistent delivery of democratic dividends across the district.
Idris Gegu particularly commended the Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Hon. Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, for what he described as exceptional leadership, strategic political coordination, and sustained grassroots mobilisation that greatly contributed to the massive victory recorded in Gegu South Ward.
